Hibiscus grandiflorus is a winter dormant, aquatic hibiscus naturally found in freshwater marshes, ponds, and lake edges. Use as a specimen in bioswales, rain gardens, or as the centerpiece of an aquatic planter. Requires moist, rich soil. Larval host for Gray Hairstreak, Checkered Skippers, and four moths.
