Lopsided Indian Grass (Sorghastrum secundum) is a medium to large perennial grass. It grows 2-3 ft. in height and to 6 ft. when in fall flower with its attractive long inflorescence. Grasses provide many ecological services and are great additions to natural landscapes and habitat restorations. Lopsided Indian Grass requires sandy well drained soil and is very drought tolerant. It needs full sun and has poor salt tolerance.
