Bay-rum, Pimenta racemosa, is an evergreen tree native to the Caribbean that reaches up to 40 feet tall and 20 feet wide. The oil extracted from the leaves is used to create bay-rum cologne. It can also be used as a spice in cooking. It can tolerate part to full sun, moist to average soil moisture, and acidic soil.
