Skullcaps are a small native wildflower. Reaches about 6-12 in tall, spreads and creates small open patches and is broader than tall. Full sun, has high drought tolerance, and can thrive in nutrient poor soils. Flowers are dark blue with 2 parallel white stripes and occur all year. Valuable source of seeds for birds. Listed as endangered by the state of FL. Not salt tolerant.
