Focus on rebuilding landscapes with salt-tolerant native plants to mitigate future storm risks.
Today we look at our Bog Garden planting, utilizing native ferns, groundcovers and larval hosts to create a diverse area for wildlife and incorporate wetland plants into a typical landscape setting. Over the course of our Nursery Tour Tuesday series, we will be walking through some of the growing or mature native plantings around the nursery. Many of these plantings mimic ecosystems or specific conditions in landscapes, in order to give a more full idea of how to incorporate native plants into your own yard.
